Information Security and Retention

We use reasonable administrative and technical measures to protect personal information from unauthorized access, loss, misuse, or disclosure. Access is limited to people who need the information for club purposes.

No website, email system, or electronic storage method can be guaranteed completely secure.

Information is retained only as long as reasonably necessary for membership administration, financial records, safety, insurance, legal compliance, or other legitimate club purposes. Florida law requires covered organizations to take reasonable measures to protect personal information and contains requirements relating to security breaches.

Junior Members and Children

Applications and online submissions for junior members must be completed or approved by a parent or legal guardian.

The Club does not knowingly collect personal information online directly from a child under 13 without the involvement and required consent of a parent or legal guardian. COPPA places special requirements on websites that collect personal information online from children under 13.
